Brook Lane is excited to announce that it has opened a new outpatient clinic in Cumberland, MD. This outpatient location primarily provides child and adolescent mental health services, including evaluations, individual and family counseling, psychiatry care and continuity of care through coordination with partners. Some adult appointments also will be available.
“There has been a lack of available mental healthcare services for children and adolescents in the Western panhandle of Maryland for quite some time,” says Jeffery O’Neal, CEO of Brook Lane. “Our goal is to provide easy access to these much-needed services closer to where the citizens of Allegany County live, work and play.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house was held on Monday, September 25, with more than 40 business leaders and elected officials in attendance. “The support of the local community is overwhelming but not surprising,” says O’Neal. “We have been working diligently for the past several months to get everything in place and are happy to finally be able to open our doors and partner with this amazing community.”
Brook Lane received a grant from the Rural Maryland Council’s Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund to assist in setting up this outpatient location. It is in the South Cumberland Marketplace Plaza, at 1050 W Industrial Boulevard, Suite 18. To schedule an appointment, call 301-733-0331 x1703.
