This seminar will focus on the educational requirements for existing board approved supervisors to obtain CEUs in supervision for licensure renewal. This will include reviewing the Maryland requirements for providing supervision. The program will also explore the practical aspects of supervision from required documentation, notes and time keeping to billing and coding. Also included will be dialog on when Clinical Supervision crosses into therapy and how to create a legacy.

Dr. Shea has more than 40 years of experience in the field of mental health, working with clients of all ages across a range of services. He formerly served as the Director of Outpatient Services for Brook Lane where he provided oversight and leadership to therapists at multiple locations. Dr. Shea also has provided clinical supervision for numerous therapists in the Hagerstown area and maintains his supervision credentials.
