Helping an Anxious Child

Everyone experiences anxiety, when it is long lasting and impacts daily living it becomes a disorder. Statistics show that one in eight children suffer with an anxiety disorder. Untreated anxiety can result in poor academic performance, risk of substance abuse and missing out on key social experiences. This free program will help participants learn more about the different types of anxiety disorders and what can be done to help young people dealing with anxiety.
