Brook Lane Health Services has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety. The Joint Commission conducted an unannounced, on-site evaluation of Brook Lane earlier in the year. The accreditation award recognizes the organization’s dedication to complying with the Joint Commission’s state-of-the-art standards on a continuous basis.

October 15, 2010 -- Golfing with Family and Friends of Brook Lane
This fun event will be held, October 15, 2010 at the Waynesboro Country Club. The day will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The event is a four person scramble and monies raised will benefit the Brook Lane Autism Program. Sept. 24, 2010 -- Ethical Issues: Clients Who Threaten, Abuse or Injure
This course will examine at what point the responsibility of the health care provider extends from treatment to a legal and ethical obligation to protect others. The Maryland Annotated Code, Supreme Court decisions and professional ethical codes mandate that health care providers have a legal and ethical obligation when a patient threatens serious injury
